All-Star Matches

From SmashWiki, the Super Smash Bros. wiki

This article is about the Event Matches. For information on the secret All-Star Mode, see here.

All-Star Matches are five Event Matches in Super Smash Bros. Melee that pit the player against 4-5 different computer players, one right after the other. Each computer plays on his own stage, so every time a computer is defeated, the player is automatically taken to the next stage, keeping their damage percentage as they go.

All All-Star Matches last four minutes and gives the player two lives. High scores are shown by how long it took the player to defeat all characters.

[edit] In Brawl

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl these matches reappear under the name 'All-Star Battle' acting as a Multi-Man Brawl. However, these battles are sorted by the Super Smash Bros. opponents and are battled on one stage. The player has to battle two opponents at a time and wait for another to appear. These events are the only ones in Brawl to not have a time limit.
