Ax is an semi-professional smasher and member of the SLAPAHO crew. He also is part of the AllIsBrawl.com Content team, and regularly writes articles pertaining to Smash news, game theory, and the professional scene.
He has been playing Smash since the original, where he mained Link and Samus. He enjoys developing the metagame of low tier characters but understands that come tournament time it is necessary to play higher tiers.
He has participated in five tournaments, failing advance from the first round in the first two (with a loss to second place finisher Foghorn in the first, and a loss to DonkeyButt, the second place finisher in the second) and then placing third in a doubles tournament with SLAPAHO crewmate Clifton 'Palm Tree' Palmer. In the second qualifier for the UISCS, Ax progressed to the finals where he lost 4-1 to a former Smash Brawl Rankings top player, and ranking about Smash Brawl Rankings moderator Mid Boss. His second place qualifier finish earned him a berth into the championship, and earned a monetary prize. In the finals, Ax ranked among the top eight smashers, putting him among the top smashers in the state of Iowa.
