Beedrill makes its first appearance and so far only in the Super Smash Bros. series as a Poké Ball Pokémon in Super Smash Bros.. It performs Poison Sting; when Beedrill is summoned, a single Beedrill flies off the screen. A couple of seconds later, a swarm of Beedrill move horizontally across the screen, similarly to Unown. Any character that makes contact with Beedrill will take damage, excluding the summoner. They were replaced by Unown in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
