Kirby is a quite popular character, but his lack of a strong, consistent metagame prevents many players from playing him professionally. Those who do, however, have managed to bring his tier ranking up to 20 at times, but he now resides at 24th place.

Like most Bottom/Low Tier characters, he suffers from the lack of developed metagame and information which could clarify the ranking of several low ranking characters. For this reason his position remains disputed. Players can be found on both sides of the argument, arguing both in favor of moving Kirby up and down. The players found here will be the ones which pioneer his metagame to new heights and new capabilities.
