Cleffa

Cleffa (ピィ, Pī, Py in Japanese language versions) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise.

Cleffa is a tiny pink blobby creature shaped as such that its silhouette looks like a star - as the Pokédex in the RPG series describes, people have been led to believe that it came here riding a meteor for that reason, as well as the more potentially tangible reason that if the impact site of a meteorite is found, this Pokemon is certain to be within the immediate area. On nights with many shooting stars, many Cleffa can be seen dancing in a ring all throughout the night and stop only at the break of day, when they quench their thirst with the morning dew and then disappear.
It is the pre-evolved form of Clefairy, and in the Pokémon RPGs it will only evolve into Clefairy if it is very happy with its trainer and gains an experience level.

Cleffa has made only one minor appearance.

Cleffa features as a collectible trophy, unlocked as one of the 100+ trophies that can be collected randomly during normal play, such as in the Trophy Lottery and throughout the various Single-player Regular Matches. It reads as follows:

- With silhouettes that resemble stars, Cleffa are often sighted when the night sky is filled with shooting stars. Cleffa evolves into Clefairy, but only if it has a strong bond of friendship with its trainer. Since Cleffa are so cute and loveable, many trainers choose to keep it in this unevolved form.
