DTWSS Infinite

From SmashWiki, the Super Smash Bros. wiki

The DTWSS Infinite is an advanced, Infinite technique in SSBM that can be done with Falco. The goal of this attack is to rack up serious damage continuously with a three hit combo and to prevent giving your opponent a chance to attack.

[edit] Performing the DTWSS Infinite

The DTWSS Infinite stands for Down throw, Waveshine, and Spike. To do this, start off a battle with a backward Roll. Then Grab your opponent immediately. Then, you must down throw your opponent and then waveshine as many times as possible.

[edit] Pros

This is a great way to trap opponents and prevent incoming attacks.

[edit] Cons

Be aware that Falco can be spiked while performing the DTWSS Infinite because his Reflector sends your opponent up. Your opponent can also use Shield or Perfect Shield while you're spiking and your opponent could DI or Tech the Down Throw.

[edit] Ways to Avoid Getting Hurt While Performing the DTWSS Infinite

If you miss a waveshine or if your opponent flies too high, L-canceled spiking, Shielding, Roll Dodging, and Grabbing will come in handy.

[edit] Damage Info (Falco)

Down Throw - 5% damage at most.

Shine - 8% damage at most.

Spike - 12% damage at most.

If your opponent gets 370-400% damage, you can KO your opponent with a Forward Smash or by Edgeguarding if the Forward Smash was unsuccessful in KOing your opponent. This is a great trapping method and is best when done near the edge of the stage.
