All-Star Battle Melee is the 34th event match in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The player gets to choose who to play as and is put against the eight fighters who were newcomers in Super Smash Bros. Melee, but are now veterans. There is a short delay when an opponent is KO'd. Use this time to KO the other opponent to avoid having to fight 2-on-1. Sheik is also a veteran who debuted in SSBM but appears as Zelda.

- The song used for this event is Menu (Super Smash Bros. Melee), which normally appears on Battlefield.
- The order of the opponents is the same order they could be unlocked in Melee. This doesn't apply for Bowser, Peach, Zelda or the Ice Climbers, since they were starter characters.
