Event Match 7: Pokémon Battle is the seventh event of the 51 Event Matches in the Event Mode of Super Smash Bros. Melee. This event lets you choose any character. You have 2 stock, and so does your opponent, Pikachu. You can only damage each other by using Pokémon from Poké Balls.This is one of the 3 events where you are in Pokémon Stadium. The others are Event 30: All-Star Match 3 and Event 39: Jigglypuff Live!

[edit] Captain Falcon
Captain Falcon is the fastest character in the game, so use him to gather your Poké Balls before Pikachu.

When the match starts, repeatedly use your Blaster. This will cause Pikachu to block with his shield. When the shield breaks, you're free to grab the Pokéballs without any challenge until Pikachu recovers.
