Flamedash

The Flamedash is a technique in Super Smash Bros Brawl in which Fox aims his Fire Fox horizontally into a slope. Fox will end up sliding up the slope similar to a wavedash, able to use any attack immediately after impact.

The Flamedash was first pointed out by sdwavedash of Smashboards (ironically, it was his first post). Though it has been proclaimed useless in competitive play due to its predictability, it has become a fad on the forum. Fox players (notably a few popular ones) have mentioned it numerously in posts as if it were an unstoppable advanced technique that makes Fox unbeatable (sometimes including equally ludicrous disadvantages such as crashing the Wii in the process). It is usually mentioned as FLAMEDASH (or a varient thereof) to put emphasis on its supposed "power".
