Hybrid Speed, or just Hybrid(HYBD used as Melee tag, HYBRD used as Brawl tag), is an American smasher, currently living in Las Vegas, Nevada and reps the VegasSmash community, attending many of the weekly tournaments held there. Hybrid first began playing serious smash around Winter of 2006, though he has played it since it has been released. In Melee, Hybrid mained Peach, with Jigglypuff as his secondary. During the course of Melee, Hybrid joined the crew known to be SHFFL. His main partner for teams is FzeroX. When Brawl was released, Hybrid struggled to find a suitable main to stick with. Eventually Wolf had been chosen. He has no official secondary however, but plays Fox, Bowser, and Captain Falcon. Shortly after Brawl's life started a majority of SHFFL Crew left, and they disbanded. Later a new crew was formed, and was named Fierce Allegiance, or FA for short. Hybrid is currently trying to spread his name and be known.

Hybrid is co-creator of the SHFFL Crew. Friend and teams partner FzeroX helped to create the crew. The crew name is a play on words to the advanced smash technique. Currently disbanded.

The SHFFL Crew died out around the time Brawl came out, and now Hybrid Speed is a member of the Fierce Allegiance Crew. FA is currently ranked as one of the top few crews in Las Vegas.
