The Idle AI glitch is a glitch that occurs in Super Smash Bros. Melee. This glitch can be performed in Kongo Jungle and on occasions, Fourside and Mute City. This glitch requires a player and any CPU. However, the player must use a specific character. Once the game starts, the player must quickly move over to an edge of the chosen stage (any edge is acceptable). One must make sure that the CPU is not too close to the player or else the CPU will attempt to attack the player. If the CPU can use a projectile, they will use it against the player if they are far enough away. They will also attempt to grab any nearby item.
