LHG is a Link player from San Diego, CA and a current member of the crew, Jason and The Siberians. Along with crew mate, PNOY, they form the doubles team "Ernie Rays Jr.", a tribute to their martial arts hero Ernie Reyes Jr. Loves to open up a series and play with Link in tournaments, despite using his other characters somewhat more often. He has a lot of pride in his Link and defends it whenever people put the Hero of Time down.

[edit] Smash History

LHG started playing Smash after finding out about Smash 64 at a Wal-Mart preview sample chooser thing, maining Pikachu right away and seconding Link and Luigi. He never took it farther than casual matches as at the time he didn't know about the competitive Smash scene. He stayed the same way when Melee came out, until about 6-7 years after it came out when he and his friends began learning advanced techniques and entering tournaments while the scene was getting pretty old. Reasons for his entrance to the scene include seeing the various videos by Death By Rape (namely Hylian Nightmare) and seeing the True Life with KillaOR which presented him and his friends the possibility that video games can be worth it. When beginning, he mained Sheik but has a hazy history as he moved to Link (as in he doesn't know how or when he switched AT ALL). His search for a strong secondary character ended after a failed Falco as he settled with his previous Sheik and a new Peach that surprised him as he had no idea that he would ever use Peach.

In January 2008, went on Smash hiatus after a rough night at a tournament. A month later started playing in tournaments again in the last stretch of Melee before Brawl comes out in the States.

[edit] Trivia

  • Many ask him what "LHG" stands for, but never answers completely and gives an answer similar to "It can mean anything."
  • Listens to "I Can Love You Like That" by All 4 One at least once during a travel to a tournament.
