Lickitung (ベロリンガ, Beroringa in Japanese language versions) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise.

A moderately large pink reptile-like Pokémon with a tongue that spans over 6 feet, 6 inches long. The Pokédex says its tongue is more prehensile than its arms. The tongue, twice its body's length, can be extended like a chameleon's, can be deftly manipulated because of well-developed nerves that run to the very tip, and is slathered with a thick gooey saliva that sticks to anything. It moves the tongue around as an arm to grab food, catch prey, and attack. Its tail quivers when it extends its long tongue; there is a possibility of a connection between these two details. Its licks cause a tingling sensation that can cause paralysis. Whenever Lickitung comes across something new, it will unfailingly give it a lick, because it memorizes things by texture and by taste. It is somewhat put off by sour things.
In the Fourth Generation of Pokémon it can evolve into the stronger and more rotund Lickilicky by leveling up while it knows the move Rollout.

A giant balloon of Lickitung (in actuality the 3D model of Lickitung used in Pokémon Stadium for Nintendo 64) is one of the many floating and bending "platforms" that comprise the Poké Floats stage. Among the balloons in the stage this one seems to animate itself; it unrolls its tongue to serve as a temporarily extended platform.
