Link's Grandma

Link's Grandma is a character appearing in the game The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Other than Link's sister, Aryll, Link's Grandma is the only other known member of Link's family. Link's Grandma, is therefore, the guardian of the two children. It is Link's Grandma who calls him to her on his 12th birthday and presents him with his Hero's Clothes, the green tunic worn by the Hero of Time. He wears the outfit rather reluctantly. When Aryll is kidnapped, Link's Grandma fears for her safety, and entrusts Link with the Shield that has been kept in the family for years and lets him go on his own way to rescue his sister.

Later in the game, when Link has been away for some time, the boy in green returns to his home island only to find that his Grandma has fallen ill with worry over the two children. Link captures a fairy from a nearby spring, and using its magical healing powers, makes his Grandma grow stronger. She says she will support Link to the end, and offers him an unlimited supply of her homemade soup, a powerful healing item.

Link and Aryll's grandmother.She's a fine cook,and Link and Aryll are particularly fond of her soup.Grandma cares for Link with a kind tone and a warm demeanor,but when Aryll is kidnapped and Link gives chase,her health deteriorates,leaving her bedridden.If you help her recover with a fairy,she'll comfort Link with warm soup whenever he wants.
