[edit] Metal Gear series

Liquid Snake is a product of the Les Enfants Terrible project, a genetic clone born from the superior soldier genes of his biological father Big Boss. Though he was given all of the dominant genes, all his life he was led to believe he was given the recessive genes.

In 2005, Liquid led an uprising of Genome soldiers along with the mercenary group FOXHOUND, taking over the Shadow Moses Island Research Facility and kidnapping and holding hostage key figures involved in the creation of Metal Gear REX.

With the world held hostage, Solid Snake is sent in to bring an end to the revolt before a nuclear attack can be made. Every time Snake confronts Liquid, he proves himself to be quite resilient to long-term damage like going down in a damaged Hind-D, being blown up in Metal Gear REX, falling from the top of REX and surviving being rolled over in a Jeep. In the end, Liquid is killed by a heart attack from the FOXDIE virus passed on from Snake who was carrying it to destroy the rest of FOXHOUND and the Genome army.

Though Liquid was dead, he resurfaced twice through Revolver Ocelot who received a arm transplant due to an encounter with Gray Fox in which Ocelot lost one of his hands. Although he said he was in control of Ocelot, he only comes out when Snake speaks around Ocelot.

[edit] In Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Liquid Snake is mentioned throughout various trophy descriptions, but he never appears as a trophy himself. He is, however, a collectible sticker obtainable through cruel brawl.

[edit] Trivia

  • Liquid's IQ is 180, which is the same as Solid Snake, but Liquid speaks seven languages, as opposed to the six known by Solid.
