Parasol
From SmashWiki, the Super Smash Bros. wiki
The Parasol item not only can be used as a weapon, but acts like a personal parachute, reminiscent of the parasol from the Kirby series.
- Can be used to float, even after 3rd jump. Fall by simply pressing down.
- When A is tapped, it does between 3-6% damage.
- When fully charged, it does between 15-24% damage.
- When dropped, it does 2% damage.
- When thrown at an opponent, it does between 7-9% damage.
- While open in the air, it does between 2-4% damage.
- When B+Up is used by Peach while holding the Parasol, her normal white parasol is replaced by this one.
The Parasol makes a poor throwing weapon, as it will open shortly after being thrown, eliminating all of its horizontal momentum. However the Parasol makes incredible vertical distance if thrown up or down.
It is one of five items to not make a return in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. These items include the Barrel Cannon, Cloaking Device, Flipper, and Red Shell.
