Psyduck
From SmashWiki, the Super Smash Bros. wiki
Psyduck (コダック, Kodakku, Koduck in Japanese language versions) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise.[edit] Creature Description
Psyduck resembles a somewhat small bipedal yellow duck with arms in place of wings. As the Pokédex says, it is in possession of, but is always overwhelmed by, enigmatic abilities, which is why it suffers from a constant headache. it suffers from a constant headache. When its headache turns intense, it goes into an altered state much like deep sleep, which causes its sleeping brain cells to become awake, and begins using mysterious powers: It generates brain waves that are supposedly only seen in sleeping people (the discovery of this aspect spurred controversy among scholars), which generates odd powers. However, because of how it goes into a sleep-like state, it apparently can't form a memory of such an event and has no recollection of its powers, so it always look befuddled and bewildered. In its "normal" state, it can use psychokinetic powers different from the odd powers of it's "sleep" state, and it uses this in battle after lulling its enemies with its vacant look.
[edit] In Super Smash Bros. Melee
Psyduck makes one minor appearance in this game.
[edit] As a stage element
A giant balloon of Psyduck (in actuality the 3D model of Psyduck used in Pokémon Stadium for Nintendo 64) is one of the many floating and bending "platforms" that comprise the Poké Floats stage.
