A Shaydas is an enemy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace Emissary mode. It appears to be very powerful and has a weak point on its chest which is a shining red sphere. It is made up of a group of shadow bugs. It is powerful with two swords and it has two heads. It can teleport when stuck and can also fly. It's attacks include a double slash and a triple slash. A Shaydas can also hold back both of its "arms" and then do one large slash as well. This is a good time to capture it
Shaydas can prove very difficult to turn into a trophy due to their speed and the fact they can teleport away from the trophy stand. However one can usually get it by waiting and dodging.

An odd enemy with two heads. Its legs might suggest that it's a beast of some sort, but in actuality, a Shaydas is formed by swarms of Shadow Bugs. Maybe that's why recklessly attacking it will do no good--you must strike its pink core to defeat it. Just watch out for the giant blades that it brings to the party. Mind the blades, and pick your attacks wisely!
