This policy proposes the following:

• This is a Wiki
• Wikis a public
• We're all here of our own accord
• We are in no way employed or affiliated with Wikia in any way

This policy therefore resolves that:

• Wikia should totally get out of our shit

This policy shall enumerate all of these in turn.

Frankly, there are. If it was private, they wouldn't be letting us do this, and the NIWA would not have been able to exist. Basically, this just says it's not Wikia's information, it's ours. They intervene and throw some curve balls at us, knock people down a few notches or screw with the format, and in general unjustly mess with the information that we've put here and that the community collectively owns. They profit from it because they host it, but the data is not their contribution.

We're here of our own accordEdit

You choose to be here. You choose to be here because you like it, or in my case you're masochistic. Wikia benefits from us being here because we add content that they aren't doing by themselves. They profit from the Wiki because they host it, but they take their communities for granted.

We are in no way employed or affiliated with WikiaEdit

Taken with the above policy, it should be noted again that they should not boss us around lest we leave, as before. It is a mutual understanding that if they don't want this place to go to absolute hell, they should stop screwing with its administration, its policies, and its community in general.

THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED THAT WIKIA SHOULD GET OUT OF OUR SHIT AND LEAVE US ALONE.
