[edit] The Video Smash Nexus
The Video Smash Nexus, or VSN, is one of the key points of the website. The VSN is a browser-based video-searching tool that makes it easier to manage and locate Smash videos from the Internet, helping to solve naming errors and match styles. It also help prevent videos from going unnoticed in the Smash community. A current demo is available on the website. The project is headed by Buzz and he is responsible for everything so far, start to finish. The VSN is expected to have a "complete" version out soon, in which the general public can use and browse many videos. However, the public won't be able to submit videos from the get-go, only the indexing team will be doing so at first. Once the general base is filled and fully functional, the VSN will be fully usable by the public. This is planned to be completed by Brawl's release.
[edit] Blog
The Smash Nexus Blog is a blog run by Buzz and other writers like secretcode. It has all the updates about the Smash Nexus and keeps the public up-to-date.
[edit] Forums
Smash Nexus Community is a fledgling video-game forum, mainly for the video game Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The forum was created and is maintained by Buzz. The forum was home to the Smash Nexus Clan, which as of April 1st, 2008 is now defunct due to poor clan activity.
[edit] Merger
The forums have successfully merged with the Play 2 Win community in Jan. 2008. The forums size had greatly increased and a larger community had arisen as part of the said merger.
