Fandangox is an American smasher who is currently retired from competitive Melee and Brawl, and just plays them for fun now.

[edit] Etymology
He says that the "fandango" is a Spanish dance, but the real reason of his nickname is that in a movie, a guy was dropping off of a plane, and instead of saying "Geronimo!", he said, "Fandango!" Fandangox thought that as a funny thing and got his nickname. The X comes from an Argentinan TV series in which in which there is a character named Carlitox.

Fandagox never used to play at a competitive level, but while the time passed he began to play with his friends and neighborhoods. He thought he was very good at the game, until a guy beat him without being KOd. That was when he realized the level of play of other players.
He had been aware of the Smash World Forums since 2003, but he didn't join until late in October 2007, after learning that Sonic the Hedgehog would be appearing in Brawl.
[edit] Abilities
Fandangox's abilities are above that of the average smasher, though recently he has only played against CPU characters and his own friends. He claims that he almost never loses while playing with his friends.
In Melee, Fandangox is very good with Mario and Kirby, and is working on Captain Falcon and the Ice Climbers. He has fast reflexes and is good at comboing.
In Brawl, Fandangox mains Captain Falcon and Lucas, and he also uses Ness and Toon Link. He has beaten some good players in the Brawl rankings, though he is not quite at the level of play of top ranked players. While in the rankings, he spent most of the time playing ranked matches.
Because he has never entered an official tournament, Fandangox isn't very well-known in the Smash community. He was pleased to learn that Brawl has online battles, but was disappointed by the lack of a ranking system until he found an alternative in smashbrawlrankings where he participated in ranked matches. Lately, Fandangox has been losing ranked matches and he decided to take a break and use the site for friendly matches.
He recently joined the Prime Dynasty crew.
[edit] Tournament Activity
Fandangox has only participated in one tournament in early 2002. Being the first time playing with the GameCube, he lost in the first round (via sudden death). He wants to prove his skills and is looking for tournaments; however, due to the lack of competitive players in Miami, as well as his own studies, he has yet to participate in any recent tournaments.
