[edit] About Gingerr
Gingerr is very new to the smash community but has been learning fast. Having never taken part in the Melee community, she quickly got inducted into the Nexus smash community (led by smashers such as Ryan Sparks, Sighrax, and Slynkee) as a casual player.
[edit] Singles Play
Gingerr prefers playing singles matches. She feels much more confident in them (although fairing poorly in tournaments), and feels as if she can show what she's learned in such a short amount of time, in the most effective manner.
[edit] Doubles Play
Although never much interested in doubles play, in a recent turn of events, she has decided to start entering doubles tournaments with friend and fellow Nexus crew member Alex Blair (who mains Diddy Kong) under the team name "Fruits and Veggies." She says "I sure don't like doubles very much, but Fruits and Veggies is a brilliant team name."

Being new to the smash community doesn't mean she is new to games in general. Gingerr used to competitively compete in Bemani music games such as Dance Dance Revolution back in the day, and was very well known for it, but she has recently said that she's grown bored of it, and that Smash is her new love.

She can be found where ever the Nexus crew can be found. Enters as the name "Gingerr", and uses her face tag in matches as ":3", as it's common Nexus tradition to use face tags for matches.

- She has strikingly good luck with pulling up Mr. Saturn and Beam Swords in matches, especially when they work to her advantage the best. Most recent occasion being during pools at Gigabits, when she pulled a Beam Sword during a match with GameDragonX's Game & Watch.
- It's a running Nexus crew joke that she use her good looks to win over matches against boys she competes against. Generally along the lines of "1 stock per boob grab."
- For having never played Melee, and jumping straight from old school smash 64 to Brawl, people that see her play are increasingly impressed by some of the things that she knows/does.
- Gingerr will only ever play Peach in her white or red dress. She thoroughly believes that the phrase "dress for success" applies to video games.
- Continuing with that, she says that Peach's red dress is "stained with the blood of her enemies."
- She admittedly has trouble fighting against King Dedede, R.O.B. and Kirby when he's copied R.O.B.'s Robo Beam move, stating that they're so cute that she gets distracted.
- Gingerr is known by friends for posting on 4chan.org under the name "keyboardarcade."
