Johnknight1 is a part of Shining Fist, as well as a admin on their site, and a leader of the said clan. He first started playing Super Smash Bros. at a cousin's friend's house, where he instantly picked up Kirby. He then later got Smash 64 about a week after playing it for the first time, and was instantly addicted, and in love with the game and series. He played against many of his friends primaraly, until learning about Kaillera, in which he hones his skills there. He once was a spectator at a MLG tournament when the Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament scene was still young, but has yet to enter one, or think about entering one. His original main in Super Smash Bros. was Kirby, in which he grew fond of. After he got Melee in early 2002, he kept playing as Kirby, until he says "I hit bumps with Kirby, and realized Kirby wasn't the way for me to go".

Shortly thereafter, he started maining Link, in a attempt to beat a friend with his own character, and did so. He kept playing Link until late 2006, when he felt his Roy, Fox, and Falco could also be his main, since he had just started using Advanced Techs. So he tested them all, and realized Fox was his new best, and mained him ever since December of 2006. In Febuary 2007 he joined the Smash World Forums, and in July he joined Omneox of Smash, in hopes of joining a crew to get better with other players, and defeat the competition. He now says after he gets experience with his clans, he wants to start entering bi-weeklies, and then start entering smaller tournaments, and then larger ones.

He has so far done so, and is currently maining Toon Link in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, who also is his favorite video game character of all-time. Johnknight1 even goes as far as calling Toon Link his "Super Main". Currently, Johnknight1 also "Mains" Zero Suit Samus, Ness, Fox, Marth, Mario, Falco, and Ike (in that order). He also says he "secondaries" Lucas, Luigi, Pikachu, Kirby, Ivysaur, and Yoshi. Lastly, Johnknight1 has stated he "thirdaries" Bowser, King Dedede, Charizard, Link, and Peach. While Johnknight1 claims to know how to use most the roster, he generally only uses those characters, and plans on mostly just using those characters. As you can tell, Johnknight1 claims to play and does play a good amount of the roster. He claims he'll lower the amount of characters he mains and secondaries, but still plans on being able "to mindgame people with a random, obscure character you don't normally use, and that people don't see coming."

Recently, Johnknight1 entered SmashBoards and Wifi Wars hosted Smash Wars, and was eliminated on the first day by 'Eternal Phoenix Fire'. Johnknight1 played Toon Link every match of that tournament, although he planned on using at least 6 other characters prior to the tournament.

Also, he has has stated while he plans on going (further) competitive with Brawl, if he can go competitive with Melee (and smash64), that'd be "much better then just Brawl." One of Johnknight1's big "things" is this act of being a "true smasher", or playing all three smash games. He hopes to keep this up, and Johnknight1 says "I plan on playing all three smash games for a very long time. I love them so much, and they are my three favorite games of all-time, though I give the edge to Melee and Brawl!" Currently, Johnknight1 claims to be "looking" for a NorCal biweekly to enter, as well as live tournaments later on, as he originally planned to do with going competitive at Brawl.

  • Is know for using "=" a lot, "XD" a lot, and especially ending with "=???".
  • Along with NES n00b and Y34DUD3!!!, Johnknight1 coined the phrase "Super Awsome".
  • Mains Mario in [Super Smash Bros.]] 64, and secondaries Luigi.
  • Called himself "pro-Wind Waker Link and Megaman extremist" before Brawl's release.

  • Made a $50 bet that Lucario would be playable in Brawl. He won the said bet.
  • Is happy that Blastoise (his favorite Pokémon) is sorta playable through it's preevolution in Squirtle via the Pokémon Traininer.
  • Is one of the four leaders of Shining Fist. Thus, he is one of the four clan leader for the his clan, the other being demoncaterpie, 'Homelessvagrant', and 'METROID MAN'.
  • Is well known for making Youtube videos under the username 'Faceurhell", especially for his Brawl character predictions, which has recieved well over 100,000 views on youtube.
