Newman (born June 10, 1991) is a Mario player from Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. Newman seems to have a natural aptitude for the game and continues to have success against local players in his community despite not playing on a regular basis.

The name Newman was chosen by his friend after a discussion about a Spanish rum called Newman (an alcoholic beverage). The name grew onto him and soon his friends were calling him Newman on a regular basis. He has stuck with this name through many online games and uses it to this day as a smasher.
