Sage is a member of the recently revived crew Famous Last Words. He is an american smasher originally from Maryland and his crew is known for organizing the DC Super Smash tournaments. Sage officially joined the crew just before DCSS-3.
[edit] Background
Sage owned the original Super Smash Brothers for Nintendo 64. He also obtained a copy of Super Smash Brothers Melee with the release of the Gamecube. He played regularly with his younger siblings and local neighborhood kids and became proficient with the character Link. Eventually he began to play in smashfests with his friends Aaron and Jeremy Rice, known to smashers as B-Run and Jump20X6 respectively. Eventually the two brothers invited Sage to join their crew, Famous Last Words.
[edit] Digipen Institute of Technology
After his high school graduation and the initial disbanding of FLW, Sage went on to be a student at the Digipen Institute of Technology. This is a four year college dedicated to training students in the art of video game design. The campus is located just outside Seatte, minutes away from the headquarters of Nintendo of America. Upon graduation Sage plans to work for Nintendo, designing the games both from a technological and creative standpoint. Considering his ongoing interest in gaming and Nintendo specifically, it is clear that Sage plans on playing and competing in the upcoming Super Smash Brothers Brawl.
[edit] Trivia
- Sage's team partner for tournaments was his younger brother Jake, known by the alias Ryo. Together their team was called the Legendary Armor Samurai Troopers (L.A.S.T.) This was the Japanese name for the anime Ronin Warriors, of which the characters Sage and Ryo were members.
