Star Fox Adventures

Star Fox Adventures is a game on the Nintendo Gamecube. The game takes a drastic change from the usual Star Fox experience in that instead of the usual flying shooter, it's more of an action-adventure game. It is in this game in which Fox McCloud first meets Krystal and Tricky.
Adventures was the last game that Rare produced for a Nintendo console before being purchased by Microsoft. The drastic changes in Adventures were due to the lack of confidence Nintendo had with Rare's original product.Star Fox Adventures was originally planned for the Nintendo 64, as Dinosaur Planet, a game unrelated to the Star Fox series. Noticing some slight similarities, Nintendo ordered Rare to work the Star Fox characters into the game. Howevre, Kristal and Tricky were originally planned to appear in Dinosaur Planet. Despite being largely regarded as the black sheep of the Star Fox series, the game was recieved very well by both critics and fans and became a best-seller.
