These are my views. Discussion on talk page is to be strictly about my views, as there is already a forum page made for general discussion of the tiers.

The way I'm setting this up this time is talking about every character specifically. The characters will be sorted by their tiers, in order.

But first, here it is, brawl tier list 3.0

1. Meta Knight: I'm personally glad to see him and Snake back into regular tiers. Over the past months, the community has learned of a few bad matchups for MK, including Yoshi. THis warrants his drop from broken tier to top of top tier. Don't get me wrong, he's still the best. He's just not broken, and SHOULD NOT BE BANNED FROM TOURNAMENTS!

2. Snake: Same with MK, I'm glad to see him back in the regular tiers. Snake's gonna be the eternal number 2 to MK, unless someone can really take those mindgames to another level.

3. Wario: His move is the first thing I noticed about this list. I agree with the move up, but I disagree with how far he went. Wario deserves to be called a top tier character due to his great recovery, strange physics, and quirky-but-powerful play. I find that he lacks a significant edge over Falco and Mr. Game & Watch.

4. Falco: If his vertical recovery was just a little better, then he'd be a lot better. A good Falco who can make his combos flow together is a tough foe, and I expect a lot more from this guy in the future.

5. Diddy Kong: I didn't expect this, but his being ahead of Dedede is warranted. His nannerz can make for some great mindgames, plus his great array of aerial attacks and grab game make for a lower top tier character. Not anywhere near the best, but certainly much better than most.

6. King Dedede: Poor penguin. He went from "worst in the game" before Brawl was released, to either 3 or 4 (with Falco), and now to the bottom of top tier. That's still very good, but anyone can see that he's dropping. I expect to either see him rise up again (if someone can perfect his aerial game) or continue to fall into the high tiers.
