[edit] Super Smash Bros. Melee
As stated above, the main characters used by Mr. Wright are Dr. Mario and the Ice Climbers. Although starting out with Pikachu, he gradually made a switch to Dr. Mario after doing exceptionally good in Classic and Adventure modes. He also experimented with Fox, but abandoned the effort upon concluding that it didn't fit his style.

His prefered stages are Mushroom Kingdom II and Pokemon Stadium. Although the stage he uses in most battles against human opponents, Mr. Wright has a strong dislike of Final Destination. He says it favors projectile users too much and gives little time to recover in intense matches. He says that a fairer alternative would be to have the "normal mode" Pokemon Stadium layout and have it not change.
[edit] Rivalry with "That Guy"
Mr. Wright has a fierce rivalry with "That Guy" (not to be confused with ThatGuy), who believes himself to be better. The first SSBM match they ever met in was a decisive defeat for Mr. Wright, due to it being only his second time playing. Ever since that first match, his skills have been increasing immeasurably. The first major triumph over That Guy came during the first Triplairuntabourney (triple-player run the table tournament) between the two and Codename:91. For the first half, a large portion of the victories went to Mr. Wright, up until Kirby. Unfortunantly, That Guy was able to pull off an overall victory. As an aside, Codename:91 had only one victory out of the 25.

On a meeting on November 28 between Mr. Wright and That Guy, in a psuedo-random style, intense matches followed, and in the end, four-ninths (45%) of the victories went to Mr. Wright, including a no lives lost with 24% on three life stock. Always one for an excuse, That Guy claimed a lack of practice, implying that Mr. Wright was "addicted" to Melee. Much dramatic trash-talking ensued.
At another meeting a month later on December 28, both players used their mains. Dr. Mario for Mr. Wright and Peach for That Guy. In a close fight, That Guy scraped two victories out of the three matches, giving him top ranking in Smash Attack. Mr. Wright did prove that he was the better Dr. Mario smasher, aided by That Guy's three self-destructs on five life stock.
[edit] Rivalry with "Codename:91"
Ever since the beginning, Mr. Wright and "Codename:91" (previously Anomally, Nez Master, and Chocobo) have been evenly matched. But, since the above mentioned Triplairuntabourney and even before, Mr. Wright has had a decisive edge both in skill and looks over the latter. Codename:91 also, logically, is lesser in skill to That Guy, making him third in the Smash Attack.
[edit] Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Mr. Wright loves Super Smash Bros. Brawl, giving it 95% out of 100%. Says he, "It's excellent! It's superior! The Final Smashes add a whole new element to the game, immediately becoming the sole focus of every fighter. And who could forget the Subspace Emissary! The best storyline of any video game! Everything fits together perfectly, and the side-scrolling levels get it a retro-futuristic feel with those 480p graphics. You can see every little fuzz on the Ice Climber's parka's! And don't even get me started about creaming everybody on Wi-Fi..."
[edit] Characters
Mr. Wright is amazed by the simple complexity of the Brawl roster. Every character is easy to get a feel for, and they're all more balanced than in Melee, so you can be at least moderately successful with almost any character.
With the inevitable exclusion of Dr. Mario from Brawl Mr. Wright has reverted to the now-veteren Ice Climbers and newcomers Olimar and Red, the Pokemon Trainer.
[edit] Continued Rivalries
The above rivalries remain constant through Brawl. And although Mr. Wright is better, That Guy still refuses to admit this undeniable fact, constantly think up new excuses for his losses. "My controller is spazzing out," "These buttons are too big," "I had something in my eye," "China still refuses to increase its human rights," etc.
In the first triplairuntabourney for Brawl, Mr. Wright dominated over That Guy and Codename:91, with a final score of 64-55-94.
