Hii! I'm MLaRF (pronounced "marph" or "marf"), a Smasher from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. My name is based off of Marth, my Brawl second, with which I usually use red colour scheme to represent Roy (which is magically connected to the silent L in my smasher name, but how that works will remain a secret!). Unlike normal people, I made up a Japanese translation of my smasher name (I'll admit, I'm a huge otaku! Is that really as shameful as you make it seem?), which is Aikan Sirushia, or Ai-kun for short (based off of Ike, my Brawl third, with which I use a blue colour scheme. And because you're all wondring, I use either normal or red for Sonic.
Feel free to put random jokes and insults on my talk page. The best ones I'll put on my page, with your permission.

[edit] More about MLaRF
I'm a student at Halifax West High School (Hali West), and go to Bedford United Church. I'm MetaKirb's brother and friends with Mhwal. Within my school, I'm involved in Student Government, the Anime Club, and Model Parliament, which is held for two days each year. I took over Mhwal's throne as NDP leader this year. Through my school I have been in three NSSSA conferences, which leads me to something interesting-slash-odd about myself.
I take pride in four things, in this order:
1. My comics, namely Bob's World.
2. Winning EPIC at my first provincial NSSSA.
3. A twelve (12) page word document, about halfway finished, about Kirby Air Ride. Nine courses, seven mini-courses and a city and I'm at twelve pages. That takes talent.
4. My greatest achievement ever in Brawl, my peak damage -- 609% with Marth. Heck knows how I did it, or which of my super-walled-in custom stages I got caught in, but I did it.

[edit] Techniques
[edit] Bridge Cancel (with approval from Mhwal)
Speaking of Marth and custom stages! Mhwal, MetaK and I have found an awesome maneouver on Mhwal's MacKay Bridge stage. Create a custom stage and place a 45-degree thin platform directly to the right or left of a standard block. It's easiest when another 45-thin is placed as a downwards-attaching diagonal to the first. Play as Marth, Squirtle, or Bowser (and possibly other characters with low-lying dashes, but not Captain Falcon) and dash into the square. The character keeps running on the spot! Try it yourself! I'm thinking of asking Mhwal if I should call it the "bridge cancel."
[edit] Normal people techniques
I can desynch the Ice Climbers, but that's it.
[edit] GREATEST. TECHNIQUE. EVER.
rob fuly charjis his jiro and samis fuly charjis her samis beem and rob shoots his jiro but samis jumps and dusnt get hit and samis pix up the jiro and throas it at rob but rob sheelds it and samis shoots her samis beem and rob uses his arm rotur and samis gets hit with her pwn samis beem and it gows BAM but samis dusnt dy and this is a ultra nub cansl.
[edit] Random rant about professionals and things I dislike about them
THERE IS NOTHING. SPECIAL. ABOUT. PEACH. I dunno about you, but I think over 1/2 of the entire world is not into SSB, and over 2/3 of them likely can't pull off any of these techniques like wavetaunting and noob cancelling, or just don't really care about them. Therefore, this "tier list" and all of those combos and pretty maneuvers only apply to a very small portion of the entire planet's population. Without these techniques, Peach has NOTHING. SPECIAL. ABOUT HER. As you can tell, I believe top-tier is a bit of overkill for someone who has a grand total of one attack that does any damage. I read that Peach pros use the turnip a lot, but I've seen it used no more than 10 times in a 5-stock match. This leads me into doing something you will all hate.
[edit] MLaRF-tiers
This... is the MLaRF tier list. I made it because, according to Dr. Wright, "Tiers are for queers." This tier list is based on the overpoweredness of characters, their special abilities, and whether or not they need Action Replay to use. XD

[edit] Ficticious Character Movesets
That's right. Most of it will be creating new movesets, but I'll also be editing some others.
[edit] Paula Polestar
Paula's generally the same as Ness in movement. She's a bit slower and heavier, but has better strength. Her aerials aren't as Rockin as her ground hits. She can also EIDI, but doing so against her will result in the same setup as against Marth, a sweetspotted down-smash.
Jab combo: Right punch, left punch, right kick, like Mario's, but the kick is aimed more towards the shin. 2%, 2%, 3%. Dash attack: Skids with right hand forward, doing fire-type damage in three hits. 5% each, the last one having horizontal knockback. Side tilt: Dual-handed punch, basic physical. 9%. Up tilt: Uppercut punch like Ike's up-tilt. 10%. Down tilt: Left punch, like Marth/MetaKnight's down tilt. 8%.
Side smash: Smacks opponents with Magic Frying Pan, swinging it like a bat, not like Peach's frying pan. 18-23%, 14-19% a quarter of the time. Up smash: Throws the Trick Yo-yo straight into the air, doing five hits. 5% each default, increases hits to 6% the more you charge it. Down smash: Whips the Handbag Strap on either side (front first) really quickly. Does 13-20% damage each hit, stuns the enemy for about 40 frames, unless sweetspotted, where it has vertical knockback and does 18-25%.
Ledge attack: Hoists herself up quickly and does a slide kick with her right foot. 11%. Weary ledge attack: Hoists herself up sorta slowly, and hits people with her purse. 8%. Dead attack: Spins around, kicking opponents on either side with PSI-type attack, and leaping to her feet in the process. Does one hit on each side, 4% damage per hit. Trip attack: Pushes herself off the ground with her hands and does a backflip kick, PSI-type offense. One hit in front, one above, and one behind, 3% each.
Nair: Spins around, hands extended, like Lucario, but with PSI-type attack. Three hits on either side, 3% per hit right hand, 2% left. Fair: A Zelda lightning kick with PSI-type attack, but poor knockback. 9% if hit on first strike, 6% after. Bair: Spins the Combat Yo-Yo straight out behind her, sort of weak horizontal knockback. Does about 4 hits of 3% for the first 2, 2% the next 2 hits. Uair: Tilts herself awkwardly to raise her right hand straight up and deal 4 hits of PSI-type damage. 2% each hit. Dair: Swings her foot below her with PSI-type power. Has a Meteor Smash effect, doing one hit, and stops her fall about the same as Fox's reflector. Does 10% damage.
Grab: Reaches a small distance in front of her and sort of hugs the opponent. Results in her holding an opponent in both hands. Pummel: Kicks the enemy in the shin. 2%. Forward throw: Uses psychokenesis to aim the enemy and toss them straight diagonally with rather good speed. 11%. Backward throw: Lifts the enemy over her shoulder and throws them forcefully with psychokenesis. Diagonal, medium-high speed, 12%. Upward throw: Quickly uses psychokenesis to toss them vertically at high speeds. 8% because of the lack of lag. Downward throw: Smacks 'em on the head with a Holy Frying Pan and lets 'em go. 13%.
Standard Special: PSI Freeze Beta: Sends out three light blue points of light for the length of time that you hold the button, one straight up and two starting vertical but curving diagonal. Erupts and freezes enemies when you release, 14%. Only 9% if you hit multiple. Side Special: PSI Fire Alpha: Shoots a small red lightning bolt-looking thing, like Ness or Lucas, and also erupts into flames that burn people like Lucas'. It shoots straight through a person it hits, and it launches the original distance when it hits someone. 12% damage. Up special: PSI Thunder Alpha: Shoots a lightning chain outwards that you can steer and hit her with. Neutralizes if it hits an enemy, doing 10% damage if it hits the enemy, 6% if Paula is launched and hits them. Down special: PSI Magnet Omega: Paula gets enveloped in a large shield that absorbs projectiles, but she remains perfectly veunerable to physical attacks. Projectiles heal her the same amount as they would normally hurt you, except within the first 20-30 frames, where it would heal an extra 3%. Enemies are sort of stunned for a small bit when they are overlapped and Paula releases. Final Smash: PSI Thunder Omega: Paula actually only learned up to Gamma, but what the hey. Lightning flashes down onto the stage. There are 4-6 very wide strikes per flash, 4 flashes, each strike doing 25% and high vertical knockback.
I know, you're thinking "Not another Ness clone!" Well, that's not the case... I'm changing Ness.
Standard special: PSI Flash Alpha: Fires a small beam of light that can be tilted up or down, acting like Zelda's Din's Fire. When it hits, it does 8% damage, plus one of the following: Freeze, Electric, Fire, Sleep, Dark, Spike, Burry, Dizzy, Vertical Knockback. Side special: PSI Shield Beta: Holds out his right hand and puts in front of him a shiny aura. Reflects projectiles with 1.3x damage magnification, and can counter physical attacks within the first 40 frames. Down special: PSI Hypnosis Omega: Sends out sparkles like Tabuu, and can be guided-- go horizontal if nothing is pressed. Flashes appear after 6 sparks that put enemies to sleep. Up special: PSI Teleport Alpha: Dashes forward and then disappears; reappears in the direction the control stick is held, still dashing, but decelerating. Can do 8% damage if he hits an enemy, and has medium-slow horizontal knockback. Final Smash: PSI Rockin Omega: Generates 7 massive explosions, each one increasing in size, about half a second apart. Can cover Final Destination on the last hit. 20% on the first explosion, an additional 1% per explosion.
[edit] Who would win in a Brawl...
[edit] Round 1
Chuck Norris, Mr. T, Jesus, MetaKnight, Captain Falcon, Venusaur, Mewtwo, R2D2, and Kooper.
Jesus would never hurt anyone, but he can heal anyone who allies with him, even if they're dead. And don't try to kill Jesus, he'll just come back 2-3 days later.
Mewtwo is wild, and Venusaur is trained, and trained pokémon are always more powerful than wild ones of the same level. Not only that, but it's obvious Red would use Venusaur to catch Mewtwo, so Venusaur just owned Mewtwo, big time.
Contestants left: Chuck Norris, Mr. T, Jesus, MetaKnight, Captain Falcon, Venusaur, R2D2, and Kooper.
Captain Falcon may be low-tier, but he can do this. File:Falconpaunch.jpg
Chuck Norris doesn't get in a fight, he beats the fight in a fight.
Kooper wouldn't be able to attack for a few turns after he's attacked, so he'd be easy to take out.
Contestants left: Chuck Norris, Mr. T, Jesus, MetaKnight, Captain Falcon, Venusaur, and R2D2.
Meta Knight is top of the Brawl tier (again) because of his incredible tournament wins. There's no way he'd lose a tournament this important.
Mr. T pities da foo' that thinks he can beat Mr. T in a Brawl.
Chuck Norris pities da foo' that plays World of Warcraft.
Contestants left: Chuck Norris, Jesus, MetaKnight, Captain Falcon, Venusaur, and R2D2.
Jesus walked on water, but Chuck Norris swam through land. I'm not sure who beat who.
Venusaur is weak against fire, and Captain Falcon's attacks mostly use fire. It's super effective!
Contestants left: Chuck Norris, Jesus, MetaKnight, Captain Falcon, and R2D2.
C-3PO would be dead in episode 1 had R2D2 not existed. In fact, R2D2 went through the entire battle of Geonosis and came out unscathed. And he remained that way throughout the entire series, and could even beat out Chewbacca, whom I forgot to include in this, because R2D2 didn't get cruched under a moon (which is how Chewie dies, sorry to spoil it for you.)
Jesus facts (A.K.A. the Gospel) was written thousands of years before Chuck Norris facts.
Contestants left: Jesus, MetaKnight, Captain Falcon, and R2D2.
Tier wars: Meta Knight is god tier, but Jesus is God. And captain Falcon may be low-tier, but he can still do this. [1]
R2D2 can repair ships, and Captain Falcon drives one. They team up.
MetaKnight's ship can withstand being attacked by Ho-Oh, so he doesn't need to have it repaired.
Current contestants: Jesus, MetaKnight, and Captain Falcon.
UNDER CONSTRUCTION
[edit] SECTIONS TO COME
As you may be able to tell, this page is under construction. I will be pasting on here over the ages various things that I think may get some discussion started around the smashwiki. For example:
- Movesets for ficticious characters like Blue (Chikorita/Quilava/Feraligatr), Robotnik, and Rundas.
- Updates on my work with the wonder program, The Games Factory ([2]), especially my Smash-Bros. fangame Super Shoop-Da-Woop Bros.
- If I ever become able to... NOOB COMBO VIDEO!!! A combo video for people who can't do fancy techniques like wavetaunting and noob cancelling and stuff like that.
- A few updates on my comic series, especially Bob's World, which is getting lots of positive reviews.
- A moveset for... well, for those of you who've ever played Sonic Battle, it'll work sort of like Emerl: a moveset for MLaRF.
- Who would win intheoretical fights.
After I'm done that, I won't stop there. I am taking over Category:Stubs and gnawing my way through the bad articles. (Fire Emblem anthem, original opera version in Japanese, begins playing) This wiki is plagued with stubby articles that must be fixed. It is my duty to the party, also known as the Patriots, that this Smashwiki be good on every page!!
(Music stops) Oops, I forgot the rules of the Patriots...
- You do not talk about the Patriots.
- You do NOT talk about the Patriots.
Now I need new music.
We're no strangers to love...
