I main Ganondorf, no matter who the opponent is. I've been playing Melee for about 3 years and I reckon I'm pretty good; never been in a proper tournament though, I just play casually and with friends. I used to play Young Link, but realized that he's not as good as I thought. I'm also trying to train as other, higher tiered characters, such as Sheik, Falco, Fox, Marth and Captain Falcon.

When Brawl comes, I have no idea who I'll main, I am very interested in Lucas and Sonic, though. Of course, this will almost certainly change when I've played it properly. The newcomers I am most looking forward to playing are Sonic, Snake, Pokemon Trainer... ah hell, all of them!

Ideas for Items in Brawl

Speed pickup - Sonic The Hedgehog - makes player's walk and dash rate double.

Ration - Metal Gear Solid - heals player's damage by 75%.

POW Block - Super Mario Bros. 2 - shakes the ground, causing damage to all player that aren't in mid-air. Functionaly similar to Vensaur's attack in SSBM.

Ideas for Assist Trophies

Whomp - Super Mario 64 - follows an opponent and falls face first onto them.

Dr Robotnik - Sonic The Hedgehog - appears in his machine from the first boss appearance in STH and damages opponents with the ball and chain.

King Boo - Luigi's Mansion - turns the player transparent for a short while, causing attacks to miss.

Power shielding!

The 'Z' button as lightshield. Infact, lightshield altogether.
