Wildfire393 is a Smash Player and Contributor to the Smash Wiki. He never owned a Game Cube, so only started playing Melee seriously Fall 2006, when he started his freshman year at University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. His original main at that time was Samus, and he eventually took up Sheik as his main in Spring 2007. In 4-player, he tends to run Zelda, switching to Sheik when it is down to 1-on-1. His Smash64 main is Captain Falcon, with his secondary being Pikachu. He is not a great Melee player, but he excells at playing most characters passably. He can Wavedash with several characters, including both of his mains, and can SHFFL fairly consistantly with other characters (Falco and Link primarily). He is a big fan of stringing together fast tilts (especially uptilts) to rack up damage and set up in to a string of aerials that end in a finisher.

Wildfire393 is a "spade" by the Bartle Test. He enjoys figuring out techniques and movesets and how the mechanics of the game works. His recent projects have included documenting new advanced techniques to come up in Brawl. He originally mained Zelda in Brawl, mostly for her incredibly satisfying Lightning Kick and Thunder Spike. Currently, he mains Sheik, with possibly secondaries amongst Metaknight, Donkey Kong, and Fox.
