I saw you liked Sonic. I like him because he's easy to use, fast, and pretty strong. he's also very well balanced. The bad thing is he doesn't have a ranged move, and is very vulnerable to both ranged and melee attacks. Still, Sonic is awesome. UberPhoeb^{a b c} 14:24, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I like Sonic simply because of his speed. I tend to use his up smash a lot. His only flaw is a lack of a strong KO move, without his side smash he would be far far worse. He's not that vulnerable to ranged moves for me because of his speed, I can just run away or go in to a spin dash to avoid, say, Samus' charge shot. It's good to find someone else out there who uses Sonic, there are so many Sonic haters, and they only hate him mainly because he "shouldnt be in the game". Ike is a good character, but I prefer Marth. Though Marth's Side Special doesn't go as far as Ike's for the quick KO, it is stronger than Ike's. Marth lacks Ike's (what we call) "Super-Hit", his Side Smash. Ike can 1HKO 0% with it, while Marth has to get up to full charge smash with around 75% to get the easy KO. The worst thing about Marth is is Final Smash (or farewell shot). It misses constantly, and isn't very strong. It shows a little bar, but, that bar stops dealing damage 2/3s the way full of the first bar, it doesn't do through both rows. Also, the enemy has to be in front of them to use it in succession. Ike's can be a pretty far away, and get up to 3 enemies inside of it (skills as the Aether King). Sonic is vulnerable to Ranged attacks that have a far reach, and are big. For example, Samus's (or Zelda/Sheik and pkmn) final smashes, I can escape those by jumping onto a ledge above that with any other character, but not Sonic. I love Ike's solid, heavy sword hits. His up-tilt is really effecive for me- it's quick, has good knockback, and is surprising to the opponent. I didn't know Ike can KO at 0% with his side smash, did you mean maybe his neutral special? In contrast to you I like Marth's final smash much better than Ike's, because on flat, long stages (like my favorite, Eldin Bridge) it's unavoidable and very effective. Amazing knockback that will kill anyone automatically, whereas Ike's you must hit them with the first strike and even then its not a guaranteed KO. My freind is always Pokemon trainer and I usually wait till the last second before he launches his final smash, and then use my up-B, then do some up-midair attacks to stay above the beam. Though Ike's final smash has a VERY long reach, and yes, i have missed with great Aether and still landed a KO. It depends if the stage has a platform far enough under Ike to do the KO move. No, his Neutral side is very avoidable, you can jump over Ike or wait until he explodes, giving him 10-25%. My friend has completely mastered Ike, he can KO anyone (except Olimar) with Ike. I don't get it... he doesn't even have the game, and he has mastered characters that i can't even use in succession. I think Roy should have replace Marth, though....
