up==Regardless== Even if you think that Mr. Game and Watch can't shoot up in just one game, it doesn't matter. Same happened with Fox from SSB to Melee. He went from low to top, as Sheik has gone from top to bottom. Even if Game and Watch doesn't end up in top tier this time around, he will at least be considered for high. There is a general consensus that he is one of the best characters. I think top, upper high, or high is pretty good, don't you? If you still don't think that Mr. Game and Watch is one of the best characters, Smashboards and GameFAQs would like to disagree with you. The official tier list may not be released yet, but most tier lists that are created nearly always place Game and Watch at top. Just ask anyone at Smashboards and they'll tell you G&W is amazing. Just because you don't think a character can't shoot up or down drastically doesn't mean it can't happen. Fox and Sheik are reminders of that, as is Game and Watch as of now.

A few days ago, I wondered why I wasn't playing as good as I usually do. After thinking it over, I realized it wasn't only because I hadn't played it in a week. My performance also depended on the stage I was fighting on! Who knew a simple stage could stunt my performance? About a month ago, I posted a tier list on the old talk page for the "Tier List" article. Since everyone's making their own, I've decided that I'm going to post a new one myself. I'll post it on my user page this time, so more people can see it. I don't know when it'll be up, but I'm going to do more research this time. It'll also be neater. Its a good tier list-Nothing overly wrong except you put Jiggles at the bottom! And you didn't put Ike at the top! And Pit is the second best character, behind Ike! I like this tier list-Ike is not low in tiers. I also like where you put Lucas (It's a good spot), and I don't mind Meta Knight and Pit being afront. I'm wondering why Olimar is down at the bottom. Not that it's wrong, I mean, I know that you can prevent Olimar from plucking pikmin, making him useless, but he's not bad when he does have pikmin. The only slow character up high is Ike, and all the others are low. Is Ike's attack's just faster w/ more knockback? (I have more questions, but's time for me to hit the hay right now...) I suppose Jiggles is worse in Brawl, but I would still rate him above Olimar, and Marth and so on (also, i don't use shield, so that's not a problem). And Ike's knockback and range are just too good for him not to be top tier. And metaknight may have more jumps, but Pit's are bigger and he has a far better recovery. But i see your point(s). I can understand where your coming from but you should put somewhere there that characters are more balanced in brawl.ZSS should be higher she has amazing air and ground coming potential and her b side could easily kill at around 90%(a big feat in brawl due to physics engine).Game and watch could be middle tier he has barely any lag on most of his aerials and tilts.And sheik should be a bit lower as she is hard to KO or combo with and her killers are amazingly hard to land on for some reason.Zelda has strong aerials tilts,and smashes so she could be a higher I guess.Just my opinion and you don't have to take it Hatake91 (talk) 20:13, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the feedback. I put Snake down low because he is slow and not particularly strong, and his prjectiles are all so easy to dodge. Fox is down low because his falling speed is too high, his recovery is pretty poor and his effectively just a weaker Falco. Sonic is low because his running speed is good, but his attacking speed is not that great, and his attacks are not that strong. Luigi is up there because i like his Fair and FSmash and I think he's got a two very different play styles which can be used for...mind games? with your opponent. Jigglypuff is up there because i love his aerial play and his recovery-and most importantly-in melee, he had a green bandana!!! And DK is up there for being strong and not too slow, and having fairly good horizontal recovery. I know Ike is slow, but his neutral A and Side B moves are pretty fast. Plus his range can generally be used to shrug off his slowness. Just my opinions though.Ike6481 (talk) 15:39, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Got a lot of lvl 100s. As well as ^^^ i have Charizard, 2 gengars, scyther, scizor, aggron Politoed, marowak, Houndoom, and 3 others-can't remember, at schoo. Also, its £40 if you get it from a shop, but i preoredered it off the internet and it cost £32, and things are a lot more expensive here than there. I know that this Tier is about your favorites. I also know that this is only my opinion, but Mr. Game & Watch it's not so bad to be at the Low Tier list, he should be Middler. And yeah, The east of America does have an accent, Peter Griffin and Lois Griffin, but then there's Stewie, who's randomly english. I change my accent frequently to mess people up. Its very fun. My main smashers are Lucario, Marth, and Pokemon Trainer(AKA;Red or Ash). Although, I have been known to "shock" with Pikachu on occasion. By the way; Have you ever played .hack//G.U. or seen .hack//Roots? If not, you really should. I've seen all episodes of .hack//Roots and played all three volumes of .hack//G.U. and beaten Cubia in the third volume. .hack//G.U. is a really great game and very challenging. So, if you like a good challenge, you'll love this game.

You really should look into playing .hack//G.U., it's a really fun game. Also, if you want some information on the characters that appear in said game, look on the .hack Wiki and try searching Haseo. Haseo(pronounced Hah-Say-Oh) is the protagonist of .hack//Roots and the character you control in the .hack//G.U. games. He has alot of cool weapons and forms that he can use. But, you can't use them all right away, they have to be unlocked. And once you gain a new form, you can't go back to the old forms. Although, you can switch weapons between forms. I'm sure that, by now, your curiosity has been peaked and you are starting to wonder what his other forms are. Well, I can't tell you 'cause, if I did, that would ruin the surprise. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with these three games. Oh, and FYI; You can use the save data from one game when you beat it and transfer said data over to the next one. These games are on PS2, by the way.

i feel bowser, king dedede, and (to a lesser extent) wario should have been a bit higher. jigglypuff & squirtles ranking downright upset me lol. i can see where your coming from with ganondorf & jigglypuffs low rankings because they have quite a high learning curve... the reason im probably not agreeing with dedede, bowser, and wario is just because i do a lot better with heavier characters. i can see EXACTLY why you put meta knight up there, and (again, to a slightly lesser extent) pit. i think that ness should be ahead of lucas but that they should both be in the "high" category. other then that its pretty good. i think that (other then dedede) your middle section was dead-on perfect... dare i say beast? lol. your high category is also very well put together. all-in-all i'd give it a 8/10 Kperfekt722 (talk) 05:09, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Yeah I suppose he is a bit on the slow side. And I can understand why people struggle to use him well. Basically perfect timing is necessary, and perfect choice. I can only do the first one, from hours of practising with Roy. I was so sad when I heard he wouldn't be in Brawl, he was like, the best. And young link. Toon Link does even come close. But why Roy! Sure, Ike is better, but Roy would still be second! :'(! His edgeguarding was unmatched! He could beat Marth without taking damage! He could beat every character without taking damage! Gimpyfish was a very impressive player though! I don't like to admit this often...but in melee, Mewtwo and Bowser were both in my top tier! :O! Ike does deserve to be high tier. But i know, sadly, that Metaknight will be rated higher due to his speed. I don't like how the tier list is effectively a speed list. I mean, Fox was easily worse than Falco. Yeah well, here's why I hate Marth. About three years after I got Melee, I finally came to the conclusion that Roy was easily the best. So, being young, i thought i'd prove my point. As he and Marth are simalr, I searched 'Roy is better than Marth' And Boom! There i was, staring at list which was telling me that Roy was virtually useless in comparision to Marth. I don't know why, but this REALLY annoyed me, so I decided that Marth was by far the worst. And I don't really agree with tiers anyway, as each is to their own, but, as you know, I have my own personal tier lists. Were it not for my anger at the original tier lists for being mean to Roy, Young Link, Yoshi, Bowser, Mewtwo, and so nce to Fox and Shiek and Marth, my tier list would be very different. My Roy-99 stock, can beat a lvl 9 Marth without taking a point of damage, thanks to my ultimate Roy technique. If the pros knew, Roy would be top Ike6481 (talk) 17:56, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
