Yeah, I saw what happened to the sysop nominations. They all got archived simply because Mandy didn't agree with the system, so all the other sysops (for some reason) agreed with him and archived them. They're now trying to come up with a new system for becoming a sysop, but none of this would have happened if Mandy hadn't opened his big mouth. Your friend is GalaxiaD? He is a pal of mine as well. I was in a "funk of bad skills", and I used him as a test to see if I was out of it...I wasn't. I lost most of the matches. While I like to use Meta Knight, and he is my favorite character, but he is....oh how do i say, cheap in the way that he is very hard to fight. I am using Jigglypuff and R.O.B. over him now, but he is still my best character. My friends brother overused Ganondorf to a point that I learned every trick on how to beat him and I consider myself a Ganon slayer. But my friend's brother stopped using him so I might now remember how to fight him. I know what you mean about O2, but it was the only nickname I knew I could fit in the name-thingy on melee. I played the first Paper Mario. And c'mon, who HASN'T created a stage for ROB? Mine is called "Robo Factory". It is basically a single thick platform with three, equally heightened mini-platforms. Before you freak out and say "OMG, Mandy deleted your opinions on other users!", I just want to say that I deleted it myself. Clarinet Hawk (the good sysop) said it would be best to not have a section like that, in order to avoid controversy. I didn't want to delete it, believe me, but Clarinet Hawk made a good point. Unlike Mandy, who would've called us "rambunctious teenagers", hit us with a highly redundant speech, and deleted the section himself. Actually, Zmario started something like this in the Watercooler (the forum above Brawl Talk). However, people started requesting its removal to avoid controversy. It doesn't seem like we can put our opinions anywhere, but CH did mention that we could tell people how we feel about them on their talk pages. Obviously, we can't tell Mandy the Affeminite Man how we feel about him, because then the same situation that happened a week ago will rise again. I know that we've all been keeping up with the enjoyable soap opera that has been the Smash Wiki for the last week or so. I am putting this message out to tell you that it is OVER. I don't want to see anyone banned, but things have been out of hand for a while now. This wiki is about Smash Bros. To that end, for the next few days, the only posts I want to see out of everyone for the next few days are posts about Smash Bros. Also, just so that we're clear, if I see the name "Mandy" (yes, I know that is your code word), you will get a short vacation. Again, I don't want to see anyone banned, but we are working to take this wiki in a new direction and, at least for the time being, want to minimize any distractions. All of you have the ability to contribute valuable content to this wiki when you're not fighting with other users. Ok, so me, my little bro, and 3 of my friends were in my room at like 3:00 in the morning playing some game...it might've even been melee. Then I somehow convince one of my bigger, more goonish friends (friend A) to playfully hit friend B. Of course, friend A doesn't know his own strength but rats me out for giving him the idea. Friend B goes crazy and threatens to beat the crap outta me...he's also a lot bigger than me. In panick, I grab a nearby pocket knife that was really too dull to cut butter but manage to fool friend B. He grabs it from me and tries to get me with it but my bro grabs him from behind and stops him. Then my parents wake up and kick friend B out of the house. Yeah, well normally we nerds (my high school cliche group I was thrown into) are a peaceful type of folk, so I don't have to worry about Bradley (friend B) anymore...especially since I'm not allowed to interact with him in any way, shape, or form. Alright, so you know Super Mario Strikers for the GCN right? Great game. However, I didn't like the random stuff like Bowser Attack, Items, etc. So, I found out you could turn them off in Options. Then, there was the difficulty of the Cups. You could make them whatever you wanted, so it was easy to unlock everything. Basically, SMS defined freedom. Didn't like something? You could modify it or turn it off. It allowed me to show off my true skill while still maintaining happiness, and all was well and good... for a while. Then came Mario Strikers Charged, the sequel. Let me tell you, I was hyped up like never before. It was gonna rock! At least, that's what I thought. Once I started playing it, I immediately didn't care much for the controls. Why do you have to shake something to tackle someone?! What's wrong with just pressing a button? Trust me, my criticisms became worse. I didn't like the new "Mega Strike" feature, or the unique power-ups for every character. So, I head to the Options to turn that crap off. Guess what? YOU CAN'T TURN THAT STUFF OFF! You have to play with that stuff on, no matter what! I was really pissed off. So, I try to ignore all that stuff, with little success. Then comes the Cups. At first, no complaints, but it gets MUCH harder as it goes. So, I see if there are any options to decrease the difficulty. The answer, kind sir, is no. You have to try and win, but given how cheap the computer gets at harder difficulties, it's virtually impossible. As a result, I never unlocked everything, I always failed in the Cups, and I was left with a very crappy birthday present that only succeeded in pissing me off more each successive time I played it. You see, unlike last game, which allowed you to modify something if you didn't like it, MSC basically says, "We've set everything for you. You can't change anything and you must play by our rules. Don't like it? Too bad." It destroyed freedom for its own tyrannical rules that couldn't be changed, an obvious trait of Communism. Also, it came out in Europe first, a continent that's probably full of a LOT of Communist countries. In conclusion, SMS is obviously based around freedom, and is a great game as a result. MSC, on the other hand, has unchangeable rules that promote both Totalitarianism and Communism. It's a game that's impossible to enjoy, and I'd honestly rather have a truck run me over than to have to go through crap like that again.
