I'm tired of you attitude on this wiki. You think that you alone know everything and anyone who disagrees with you is an asshole and you can treat them as such. This is simply not the case. You are not in charge of this wiki, nor will you ever be. No one person is in charge here. If you actually want any of your changes to stay (which I doubt you do), start discussing them logically, and do not resort to personal attacks on the administration or the users. Also, stop making radical changes to important sections/pages and then put the onus on the rest of the community to defend them not being there. As MaskedMarth said, the onus is on you to prove that your contribution is needed, not the other way around. Again, I am completely fed up with your attitude. You need to learn to control your temper. I believe that you actually do want what's best for the wiki, but you need to show the community here that you are mature enough and calm enough to be a good contributor. While you may have your disagreements with certain administrators, it is in your best interest and the best interest of the wiki to work out these problems calmly and peacefully. You need to show that you can disagree without being disagreeable. If you want to show that you've turned a new leaf, bickering at the admins isn't going to get you anywhere. Your last two requests for rollback failed. You've been blocked numerous times. You've run afoul multiple members of the administration. Frankly, I'm surprised you've the privileges of even a normal user. Show us you deserve the privileges you have before asking for more. A normal user treats other members with courtesy instead of "ignoring" them as you have done to the users listed at the top of this page. A normal user backs away from the keyboard when the urge strikes to deliver an angry message in ALL CAPS. Ok, enough of the silent treatment. Let's settle this the EASY way, the alternative being the HARD way, a.k.a. arguing and pointlessly vandalizing/PA'ing each other and getting nowhere. Look, we're friends and I expect us to be able to overcome this little...difficulty...between us. I'll star out with my point of view and my part of the deal. I'm not a member of your crew because I don't like where your crew is headed. What I really don't like is that you aren't trying to go down the road you're going down. What "road" am I talking about? The road to eternal scrubdom/n00bishness. It's very easy to tell you guys have big plans to make your crew the best it can possibly be, but unfortunately you seem lost as to how to get there. The way we view it, you don't seem to realize where you're currently standing in the Smash community (next to nothing). Rather, you seem to feel like you've already accomplished a great deal of things together. What, you think having an article makes you famous? Do you know how many smashers actually come to Smashwiki? Very few. I mean yeah, they know about it, but if you go to smashboards or AllisBrawl, most of them will tell you straight up that they have no use for it and that it's lacking information. True, the people here work very hard (most of them...some of them are just here looking for opponents) to make the wiki as useful as possible, but the one professional that IS on here (RJM) has left to God knows where. There are plenty of people willing to work to make this place better, there just isn't enough competitive know-how to include all of the tactics and tricks shared throughout the rest of the Smash community. Where am I going with this? Simple. The people here just aren't skilled enough to grasp the competitive scene. I mean, if I can take on and beat practically everybody on the whole wiki yet I can't even get past round 1 in any tournament I've ever been in, what does that say? Exactly. This place may be a good starting point for new Smashers, but it's by no means a place to accomplish much. TOURNAMENTS are where you put your money where your mouth is. Now, what does this have to do with your crew? You guys seem to believe that you can beat people around here (a.k.a. n00bs) and actually be some of the best out there. It just doesn't work like that. You have to realize that even though the ADD isn't my type of crew, I still wanna help you guys out. Why do you think I bothered with cleaning up your article not once, but TWICE? That's also something I need to tell you about: Why I got rid of what I did. Now when I wrote my smasher article and our crew article, I followed the example of the Combo Status article. After all, they have the best players for their respective characters in the entire WORLD. So when you compare the article of a world-class crew vs a crew that has yet to do anything in the Smash community, does it really make sense that your article should be roughly 3x the size? I don't think so, and neither do most of the SysOps. The primary reason I ever did the cleanup was so that your article could be kept because with all of that text you obviously put a lot of work into it. However, some things weren't helping your cause as much as they were hurting it, so I decided to keep the article safe by removing such things as they were a threat to the article's existence should a SysOp notice it. Now I can understand your upset reaction to me deleting something that you've written, but do keep in mind it was for the best. Am I saying there should be no mentioning of former members whatsoever and they should be thrown into oblivion? Of course not, but a "former members" list is all that's required. Now I'm sorry that it offended you that I removed it (as well as JtM), but that wasn't any grounds to ban us, ESPECIALLY since it was to help you. That also brings up my next subject: Proboards bans. Look, you got mad at us for helping out, so you banned us, I got offended by such a harsh reaction to a friendly gesture so therefore banned you from Blue's boards as well as mine, and I had the intention of banning you from your own (God only knows why that failed...). You, in return, banned me from your boards, I made a rude remark and said I was gonna "blow it up" anyways, and here we are. But think about it...when I get upset, I do things very suddenly. Don't you think that if I had truly planned on "blowing up" you probooards, I would've done so already? Exactly. I didn't. And that "ghost town" remark was rather unnecessary as well. Your proboards was a sort of middle ground per se, it was where both crews could meet and openly discuss things, while they could still have their own message board to do things in private. The "ghost town" comment was just talking about the board's inactivity, something we really can't control and is no fault of your own...unless you secretly banned EVERYBODY, which I seriously doubt. So let's say this: You unban me from the two boards I'm banned on (and plz don't take away my adminship on the Playground), and I'll do the same on the two that you are banned on. Deal? Finally, I just wanna comment on your attitude. I think it's great that you are able to pick up on your own character faults. It's quite nice of you to openly state these problems in hopes that people will understand you better. However, I seriously wish you wouldn't use your announcement of these traits as an excuse to do nothing about them. You can be a great friend when not upset, so don't you think you would benefit an ENORMOUS amount from learning to retain that inner tranquility? It's not that hard, especially considering that (and I don't know how many times I've said this to people) this is the internet. You have all the time in the world to plan out what you're going to say and not let your emotions take control of you. I wish you'd learn to do that. Anyways, now that I've come and apologized for my actions, I hop that you'll have the maturity to do the same thing and we can put all of this behind us.

Now here's the tl;dr version: I'm sorry for all the crap I did but I was just trying to help your article out, let's unban each other from everything and put it behind us. Deal? Oh, and I want an apology from you as well please. Otherwise, no deal.

well, nevermind the question now, but I will tell you the reasons. On a wiki I administrate, I wanted a fancy sig that used the <choose> and <option> functions. It was too long for the sig box, so I used it on a /sig page. Unfortunately, the system automatically adds the SUBST: tag to template signatures. So I ended up having all that long text on the page anyway. Then I figured out to use the SUBST: function to have the system substitute another template. So now it does something like ~~~~ = {{subst:User:Baltro/sig2}} which only has {{User:Baltro/sig}} on it. So I got my desired result. Sorry if you've fallen asleep by now.
