I'm afraid I can't answer that question. I haven't been following SSBB news that closely (at any given time, I'm spreading my attention over multiple gaming wikis), so I don't know how many new fighters there are. Since the game is now released in Japan, if a reliable source from there tells of new features/fighters/whatever, then it could be true. I guess SSBB fans here in U.S. won't know for sure for a few more weeks. JoePlay (talk) 18:26, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

  • I can help you on that question. There are a total of 35 characters in Brawl. There are technically 15 new characters including Zero Suit Samus. Sonic and Wario are also in fact playable characters. If you would like to see the full character roster (including all hidden characters) copy Image:Brawl roster.jpg into the Wikia search box while on this wiki. How did you get Brawl in 2007? The first region to get Brawl was Japan, and they didn't get it until January 2008. Are you sure you had Brawl at that time and not some other game? - GalaxiaD (talk) 21:11, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

There's nothing to appologize for. If I came across harsh, it was because I was dealing with a vandal and another person who was just adding some crap to the wiki. I don't mind you writing on my talk page or making jokes, I was just pointing out that there was a much better chance that Galaxia would see what you'd written to him if you put it on his talk page. LOL, I just found out about your comment towards my challenge to Clarinet Hawk. I've played Guitar Hero III before, but it was just a random song that popped in my head. It's a great song. Additionally, I'll try to write one for our buddy the Balloon Fighter, but it might be a while 'til you hear back about it or see it on my page. Well, it's coming, but it isn't done yet. I'll give you a sneak preview:

  • He starts with 2 balloons, but they can be popped, affecting air speed and distance recoverable with his up special.
  • His balloons change color with his costume change.
  • The balloons never actually do damage.

Nice. I think the word you were looking for is "snout". I like the whole Pidgit-teaming concept. I would recommend a few changes: Maybe eliminate the current b-sideways to be replaced with the current neutral b and make the new neutral b a sucking-in attack with the snout that can eat itmes, creates a vacuum, etc. Maybe like Inhale? Hi. Just like you I love to make up characters. I have thought of movesets for both original characters, removed characters who I brought back and also characters who were originally going to be in Brawl but were cut. The original ideas include

  • Black Shadow, Captain Falcon's enemy (I'm surprised no one thought of him earlier)
  • Vaati, Link's enemy from the Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap.
  • Knuckles the Echidna (Sonic Heroes)
  • Banjo-Kazooie
  • A Pokemon Co-ordinator (Contest trainer, with a Rapidash)
  • Spyro and Hunter (from the Spyro games)

I also think that they should bring back Roy, Dr. Mario and Mewtwo.

Plusle and Minun were suspected to be characters in Brawl, in a pair up like Ice Climbers.

Thanks. You know, most of the students in my grade at my school (I go to a boys-only private school, but the place is hell) say that if the school hosted a SSBB tournament, or a SSB tournament of any of the three, I would win. I'm probably the only one in my school even interested in video games, although a few kids in my grade play Mario Kart Wii, among other games (most play Halo 3). You should go back and check your work for the following:
  1. Character one plays as - linked to proper game variant, i.e. Mario (SSBB)
  2. Enemies - the same
  3. Stage - also linked
  4. Life numbers visible, word "life" or "lives" unless infinite
