[edit] Quickstixs
I'm going to give you five days to prove that Quickstixs is actually worth doing and is not just a personal nickname before I delete it. Clarinet Hawk (talk) 15:53, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- If it actually works as a legitimate technique and you were the first one to publicize it, you do have the naming rights. However, the way it is worded in the page is quite confusing and makes it look like a bit of a joke page. Not that I think it's a joke, but I would recommend that you do some cleanup on it so that someone else doesn't get rid of it. Also, a video of the technique would be great. If you can't get that, I'd be happy to film it for you over a wi-fi game. Also, for future reference, please put your comments on my talk page, not my user page. - After consulting with a sysop, I think it will be for the best to remove quickstixs. I appologize for having to do this, as I know how much time can be spent working out new techniques. However, when we name new techniques, we tend to stay away from naming things that are simply spaming of a move. Clarinet Hawk (talk) 02:28, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Pros and Cons
Don't worry too much about the pros and cons sections for characters. They are all going away as part of the Post Merge Cleanup. Check Falco (SSBB) to see what everything is going to look like. Clarinet Hawk (talk · contributions) 15:14, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Falling Speed
I understand what you said about slow falling speed, but I'm telling you that slow falling speed does have its disadvantages. Slow falling speed is already mentioned as a partial con on R.O.B. (SSBB), Kirby (SSBB), Toon Link (SSBB), Luigi (SSBB), Peach (SSBB), Olimar (SSBB), Samus (SSBB), and others. Slow fallers can have a harder time using aerails as approachs, as well as have a harder time edgehogging. However, do to the fact that I am a newbie on this wiki, I don't won't to get with an Edit War with anyone. Ergo I didn't change the Jigglypuff article again. But now, in your opinion, would it be okay if I cnanged the Jigglypuff (SSBB) article to say having the slowest falling rate is both advantageous and disadvantageous? Enigmatic Mr. L (talk)
Since you didn't respond to my above comment in one week (and I can tell you read it since I looked at your contributions), I went ahead and changed the Jigglypuff (SSBB) article. Enigmatic Mr. L (talk)
I'm sorry about the way I've been acting to you. I've sort of been in a bad mood recently due to a combination of things, so I was taking my anger out on you. I hope you forgive me for that. Anyway, what I meant when I said "being hurt by Brawl's new physics" is that one can continuesly air dodge in SSBB to avoid the Wall of Pain, unlike in Melee where one could only air dodge once and that would put the character into a helpless state, and SSB where there was no air dodging. Also, hitstun has been reduced in Brawl making combos in general less effective, so those who relied heavily on combos instead of high-powered moves (e.g. Captain Falcon) faced a severe drop in tier position. Of course, I'm not going to change it back now that I've cooled down from anger, but I was explaining what I meant. --Enigmatic Mr. L (talk) 01:02, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
The air dodging is an interesting point i hadn't thought of. It could perhaps be added to the Wall of Pain page. However, I would be reluctant to put it in on either page, as I have never had anyone try to continuously air dodge out of my walls of pain. I think the reason is that after the animation of the air dodge, you are vulnerable for a while, and because of Jigglypuff's air speed, it will chase u with another aerial. The way i find most people escape is by an air dodge, and then by fast falling down, however, if Jigglypuff has put you over the edge with the WoP, it would not be a smart move, as fast fallers would fall quite far during the air dodge. Anyways, no problems now. Phayz (talk) 12:55, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
